Dow Announces Biocide Name Change

Effective December 31, 2012, Dow will be changing the name of the Aqucar DBNPA 20, which is a 20% active DBNPA product, to Aqucar DB 20. This is a branding name change only from Dow.  The actives of this product will remain the same, with the added benefit of registered use in Reverse Osmosis membrane systems. 

 

In addition to the existing regulatory approvals, the new name and label will carry registered approval for use in RO membrane systems used to control bacteria and reduce biofouling in various membrane system types (reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and microfiltration) used for industrial water processing.  Acceptable applications include reverse osmosis for the production of boiler make-up water, electronic component rinsing, and industrial wastewater treatment.

 

After December 31, 2012, all orders for 20% DBNPA will be filled and shipped under the AQUCAR DB 20 name and label.
